Brief introduction: Cica relief silicone gel sheet is a soft and transparent membrane made of medical grade silicone. There is one sticky side which can be attached to scar tissue. High air penetration capacity of the gel sheet assures sufficient oxygen supply of scar and surrounding tissue. Moisture penetration capacity of the gel sheet is less than half of human skin, which reduces exhalation of water in skin. Water kept in keratose will restrain the regeneration of capillary vessel and deposit of collagen will be reduced. Water in keratose also increases diffusion of water-soluble protein, which will soften and depigment scar tissue, as well as relax itch.
